Vrutham:
One morning before the wedding this ceremony takes place, and it indicates the transition of the Tamil groom’s life from being a Tamil boy bachelor to becoming a married man. As a fragment of the ritual, a holy yellow thread stained in turmeric is tied to his wrist to make any evil and adverse energy ward off. The ethnic custom takes place at the groom’s residence in the wee hours. A similar ceremony performs for the bride at her place, where the yellow stained thread keeps the negative and evil energy at bay.
Kashi Yatra:
It is one of the antique special customs in Tamil marriages. It is one of the most fun rituals to watch at a Tamil wedding.
